ASPECT EXHIBITION - GREG BENZ, Holly Ann Friesen & Richard Sturgeon

The first show of the year at The Benz Gallery will feature 3 artists that have been with the gallery since it opened almost 3 years ago.   Greg Benz (Owner of the Benz Gallery)  will be showing some of his largest work to date, focusing on his Lake Huron roots his landscapes are highly textural and semi-abstract in nature.  Greg is coming off of a very successful showing at the prominent Gordon Harrison Gallery in Ottawa and this will be his first showing this year of brand new work in his own gallery space.

Holly Ann Friesen's vibrant landscapes have a very wide collector base at The Benz Gallery and have found homes across Canada and the US,   Holly is one of the stand-out artists currently in the gallery.   Holly is from Kenora, Ontario and will be focusing on larger work for this show, Bright bold Landscapes, and trees using a variety of colors in her signature soft painting style.

Richard Sturgeon is also coming off of the same successful show in Ottawa alongside Greg Benz.  Spending most of his free time on the water and kayaking all around Ontario and gathering inspiration for his work.  We will see quite a few pieces in Richard's skeletal kayak series alongside his signature trees in all sorts of Steel, copper, and various stone.

All three artists will be in attendance for the opening night of this exhibition,  a great time to meet and chat about all things art and process with each one of them.
