*In the top of this piece I used tinted rice paper to create a different texture within the black section. The whole piece has been sealed with 2 coats of resin and is not supposed to be completely flat, some of the texture still shows through in certain sections of the resin which is intentional.

The Abstract Landscape work of Greg Benz are usually based on photographs that he takes on his travels across Ontario, Canada. Spending lots of time on Lake Huron at his family cottage is one of the main influences on his work. Heavily textured, by using all sorts of Mixed Mediums and unconventional tools to create cracks and separations. Mostly using Acrylic paint to build up layers and layers till the landscape is complete.
